Well I think the place is great...one of my fav clubs! ok the drink prices do take the piss a bit at the weekend but still music is great, people are ok staff is cool and all together a 5 from me :).

I went a few weeks ago when visiting friends. It was truly awful, the DJ kept clearing the dancefloor playing the most ridiculous requests (hello?! Queen might have been pop in the 80s, but now the only one we have is the wrinkley old cabbage that sits on the throne eating pies).

I didn't hear one 'uplifting house' tune either, just loads of drab stuff without many words that nobody knew. I've never been to a worse night actually. I know Cambridge isn't the centre of the universe, but it just took the pxxs.

Sort it out!

Thank you for your "constructive" comments with regards to a night that you personally did not enjoy. I am sorry to hear that the music policy was not to your satisfaction and that there was "no uplifting house".

I am very aware that as the Manager of this venue, that I am required to please many people from all walks or life and cultures. Through experience to promote what is deemed as a niche music policy would prove to be detrimental to my busienss, thus we have moved towards a genere of music that suits the large majority of customers not just a minority.

Once again, I am sorry that you did not enjoy your experience at Twenty Two and hope that in the future you will be able to return to the venue with an open mind.
